Isaac Pohlman (@isaacpohlman) is a dietitian originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and currently residing in the Chicagoland area. Isaac majored in human physiology at Alma College and attended grad school at the University of Michigan where he studied nutritional sciences. He was inspired to pursue nutrition after developing a series of health issues, including hypothyroidism, hormonal imbalances, and type 1 diabetes, during his high school and early college days. Isaac weaves much of his personal and professional experiences into his business where he specializes in blood sugar management. In this episode we are talking about the signs of leaky gut and how you can treat it through diet and lifestyle changes.
In episode 84 of the podcast, I speak with Kiara Orbe about feeding the mitochondria, with a focus into the minerals needed for fertility and pregnancy.
